Maintain our social media presence by posting and actively engaging with our audience on Instagram, Twitter and/or TikTok.
News Anchors
Our news team gathers and generates daily news reports for broadcast as well as writes new articles for our website.
Production Team
Our production team records and edits audio to produce imaging like promos and jingles for airplay.
Sports Broadcasting
Learn to call Play-by-Play and Color Commentary as well as board operations for WP home and away sports games.
Promotional Events
Create and organize on-and-off campus events like College Radio Day, bake sales, fundraisers, ticket giveaways and more.
Visual Marketing Team
Create content, design, and produce photos, videos and graphics for social media, online and on-campus promotions.
Music Department
Our music team screens and selects all incoming music for the station as well as writes reviews and artistry info for On-Air Personalities.
Since its inception, Brave New Radio has run on the dedication and creativity of the passionate and hard-working students of William Paterson, as well as professional staff and community volunteers. Brave New Radio makes every effort to best prepare all student staff members for professional media and entertainment industries by providing a multitude of recruitment positions for students to apply for. From hosting on-air shows to covering WP sports, to interviewing bands and recording live performances, Brave New Radio student staff members have a plethora of opportunities to excel in during their time with the station.Brave New Radio is always looking for new additions to our student staff. Currently enrolled WPU students in good standing with the university are eligible to join. All majors are welcome to apply. No student position at Brave New Radio is paid, however eligible students are able to receive credits as part of an internal internship. Time commitments vary by staff. The recruitment process, unlike a club, requires completing an application online or in person. Students will be contacted by email to set up an interview and later notified about acceptance.
