Vinylthon 2025

On Friday April 12th, 88.7 Brave New Radio participated in Vinylthon, a tradition of which vinyls are played live on-air for 24 hours straight. The event was founded by Professor Rob Quicke, formally of William Paterson, with 88.7 Brave New Radio as the first station to host the event. This year the number of stations participating in Vinylthon has grown to 230, this includes stations, in the US and internationally. As a mix of college, community, and commercial radio stations took part in Vinylthon this year, 88.7 Brave New Radio’s hosts did an amazing job at making sure that listeners could tune in and experience the sound that only vinyl records can provide. The schedule for this year’s Vinylthon went as follows:

  • 12AM- 2AM: Gavin McKeon

  • 2AM- 4AM: Ben Wood & Daniel Karp

  • 4AM- 6AM: Baylee Matthews

  • 6AM- 8AM: Bella Rocha

  • 8AM- 9AM: Bella Disano

  • 9AM- 2PM: Barry

  • 2PM- 4PM: Eli Leder

  • 4PM- 7PM: Alexa Topolski & Vitoria Rogerio

  • 7PM- 9PM: Inaya Jones & Jenny Exantus

  • 9PM- 12AM: Jonathan Kick

88.7 Brave New Radio is dedicated to keeping the Vinylthon tradition “spinning” for many years to come!
